Currently James J. Anderson Construction Co., Inc. is actively involved in constructing SR95 Sections GR1 and GR2. SR95 GR1 has a contract value in excess of 91 Million. The project moves existing Richmond Street to the East to prepare for future I-95 widening. The project consists of excavating 200,000 CY of soil, constructing 4 Conrail bridges, Girard Ave bridge reconstruction, utility relocation, 3 retaining walls, Septa track construction and roadway paving. The project is scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2014.
SR95 GR2 is the reconstruction of I-95 from Shackamaxon Street to Columbia Street. The project consists of the reconstruction of 3 bridges, the construction of 6 retaining walls, subsurface grouting and roadway reconstruction.
